We are currently working alongside a law firm based in Kent, they are seeking for a skilled and dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly respected firm that offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Role Overview:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing clients with expert advice and guidance on matters such as:
- Will drafting and Powers of Attorney
- Estate Administration and Probate
- Trusts and Tax Planning
- Inheritance Disputes and Claims
- Elderly Client and Vulnerable Client services
- Business development and maintaining client relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from inception to completion
- Drafting Wills, advising on Powers of Attorney, and providing estate planning advice
- Assisting with probate, inheritance tax planning, and the administration of estates
- Handling disputes related to inheritance or estate administration
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, other professionals, and stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in Private Client law
- Proficient knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Administration
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional client service
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and independently
- STEP qualification or willingness to work towards it is desirable, but not essential
